In the latest versions of the game, Bethesda has changed the formatting for plugins.txt and NMM has not yet updated to properly handle this. A Mod Manager like Nexus Mod Manager edits plugins.txt for you rather than you having to manually do this. (Please note that this method does not support "Mod Manager 2" and is incompatible)įallout 4 reads a file called "plugins.txt" for it's list of plug in mods to load.
